Fifty Shades Darker Summary:

The story follows at the end of the first novel where Anastasia has left Christian since she feels that they two of them are not compatible due to differences in the ways of their both. Anastasia starts working as an assistant to Jack who later harasses her and she are saved by Christian. She and Christian go back to being together under her conditions with no involvement of BDSM. Later in the story, Ana learns about Mrs. Robinson who introduced Christian to his current sexual lifestyle and she is disgusted to learn that they both are still friends and business partner.

Another jealous ex-submissive Leila appears and making her more dangerous is the fact that she has a gun. To get Ana, Grey even breaks the partnership with Mrs. Robinson and lets her have the salon. Towards the end of the book, after a technical issue with Grey’s helicopter and more issues, Christian finally proposes to Ana in the boathouse. Ana accepts his proposal and the marriage ceremony is expected to take place in the next novel.
